this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; YES! PLEASE GO GET HIM Loomis! 3M is a freaking steal for this guy. He should instantly make a huge difference for our team. An opportunity to get a DE of his caliber at such a great price doesn’t come ...

Fine just offer a 3rd, and promise we won't wiretap or pay to kill eli this time.
But not both, everyone knows we need our cheats to win I just can't see this happening if we can't restructure smiths, and Harpers contracts. |

No thanks. He might be cheap right now, but you'll need to re-sign him after next year & he'll be a lot more expensive then.

Also for this I think the ideal of releasing some players could help that are already going to be compromised anyway. We need to get some more defensive players that are not going to be subjected to this bounty business. Time to let someone go.

3rd round and Will Smith. Yes!
This does two things... Cuts cap space, AND relieves us from the possibility that Smith will be suspended for x amount of games. Goodell is not intentionally waiting to hand out player penalties because of the NFLPA, he is waiting until after the draft so we can not cover vital positions with draft picks. Shanle is another liability that needs to go. Sorry, this is a business and if i were managing it I would be looking at key under or less than spectacular preformers on defense to get rid of to lessen the impact of Goodells punishment. |
