Now lets clearly look at the Possibility..The Legislature passes a bill, which in turn could go to the house, which if has the necessary support could move to the Senate.
If this thing starts flaming up again..THEN Congress may get involved in a Federal Level. Dont be to quick to throw this out. La Politics is how the Saints landed in NOLA. and THE NFL BECAME THE NFL//Research it..The fact the Huey Long and his buddies controlled the Senate back when the NFL was trying to merge..The played hardball and got what they wanted..a franchise for louisiana and the NFL was allowed to merge. And it is sending a message so it isn't a waste. It shows the state is united over this. |

The NFL will likely scoff at it but I agree with Halo, with the SB in our backyard it could be a bad idea to ignore it. I just wish it had some meat in it:

Fantastic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm with Halo. This could be something that can be leveraged down the road. But beyond even that, KEEP THE NOISE COMING. Do NOT simply give up. All the hell that CAN be raised NEEDS to be raised, but any and everyone in a position to raise it. Roger Goodell MUST BE MADE TO SHOW HIS EVIDENCE. When that happens, the chips can then fall in whichever direction they fall, but he MUST show the Evidence. |

This Wednesday when the NFLPA has their grievance heard, will that force Roger to show what evidence he has against Vilma and Smith or risk the suspensions revoked?
