Glad he got some respect and graditude. I dont think that Drew failed to negotiate he fulfilled his contract and now the Saints are being ****ty with him. Drew is not going to play under the tag period. This is what the Saints are thinking and it is not going to happen. Dont have to worry about the Alabama boy he is hurt and that is his M.O. He finds a way to put himself on the bench because he is not durable. I dont think he will ever be. He is a good running back but this will continue to be his downfall. PT and possibly Sproles are the only possible everydown capable backs we have. In this respect I think Ingram has a long way to go.

I know he has had his share of injuries, but what happened last season was mostly bad luck and I think with the right conditioning program he can work to improve on his durability in order to become more reliable. The fact that SP was so high on him has me believing that this kid is the real deal, and once he learns to adjust his playing style to how the game is played at the NFL level (i.e. having patience to wait for the blocks to develop), he'll be a really impressive weapon in the Saints' offense for years to come. |
