I love Drew but do not have the same emotional attachment too him that some of you do,coming from a background in a different sport maybe changes the way I look at things aswell.
In soccer you often find that a star player will be move on whole most see him at his peak.The coaches often see the first signs of there level starting to drop and sell while the price is high IF they have seen the man to replace them.

For me you should always be looking to improve and get younger.Im not saying that time has come yet though.

I see your point, but it would be hard to let go someone like Messi even if he declines somewhat from his current form, and that is about the caliber of a player Brees is when talking about football.

Also, it's hard to argue against any position or player in a soccer team being as important for the success of the team as a QB is to a football team, and that is why it's extremely important to have a superstar QB playing for your franchise.
