Monday, May 03, 2004 By Jeff Duncan Staff writer One of the many pearls of wisdom Jim Haslett gleaned from Raiders owner Al Davis during his two-year stint as an Oakland assistant concerned draft strategy. "Al told me, 'In the first round, you always take guys that score touchdowns or guys that prevent them, like cornerbacks and defensive linemen,' " Haslett said. That\'s funny, the Raiders took an Offensive Tackle in this year\'s draft.
