He\'s right... not only that, QUARTERBACKS are a close second to RBs. WRs are a distant third - and in many leagues defenses are often worth more than any one receiver.

First off, Whodat, a good starting quarterback can be found in the later rounds more often than not. I picked up my starting qb last year in round ten. Brad Johnson. The guy who won the ff league the year before that picked up his starting qb (Brady) in the eleventh round.

And rage, I won\'t disagree with the fact that runningbacks are the most valuable in ff. Everybody before me picked runningbacks AND I\'m in a keeper league. I kept Travis Henry so I felt safe in that decision. The point that I was making is that most people understand that the runningback is the best pick when it\'s their turn. I guess that I\'m a true Saints fan when I pick BAP like the Saints organization picks their draft picks. I won ff, guys. You can question the ff smarts of the fellas I played with but my crazy picks payed off.

We ought to start a fantasy football thread so that we can argue about this more.

While we are on the subject of FF, I just missed out on drafting Deuce in a draft I am in right now so I had to \'settle\' on Shaun Alexander. :casstet: Ok, so it\'s not so bad but what is bas is the fact that the guy who drafted Deuce is a friggin Tampa fan.

BTW, QB\'s can be found anywhere, whodat. I don\'t think I have ever taken a QB higher than round 7. I\'m hoping to nab Brooks in a couple again this year. Fumbles or not, he puts up stats that are as good as most any QB out there.
