His running style reminds me a lot of Marion Barber, very upward with closed hips, and like Barber, Ivory has had a multitude of lower body injuries because he never seems to lower his pad level to absorb the incoming hits. Barber retired at 28 largely because of the injuries, and as of know it strongly looks like Ivory is headed down that same road. Still, a heavy diet of Pilates could do him wonders and increase his durability. |

Ingram is on the field just as little. What should happen there? Ivory is a beast. Ivory, to me, is the second best head down rusher in the league, Adrian Peterson being the first...

Every time Ivory gets the ball I hold my breath thinking he is going to smack the sh!t out of someone on the D and score, he is a year older and should by now know what he has to do, I look forward to seeing him this year running over people, good powerbacks are hard to find and I don't want to face him with a chip on his shoulder.

He stays until next year. Then the FO can reevaluate him.

Ingram was a rookie last year. Deuce was on the field even less his rookie season. Ingram didn't even have the luxury of a full NFL offseason and the conditioning that comes with that. Ivory has had 3 years to prove himself and every year he gets injured. I will watch Ingram for a couple more years before I write him off.
