The way we hear it, two of the biggest additions to the Saints this offseason likely will never suit up for the team, but their impact will be felt nonetheless. We’re told DL coach John Pease and WR coach Jimmy Robinson are making a big impact on the team with their professionalism and work ethic. Team observers say the fruit of their work already has been seen in how crisp the defensive line and receiving corps have performed during offseason workouts, and the work ethic for both squads has been raised a few notches since the coaches’ arrival. But sources are quick to say that the praise for Pease and Robinson isn’t a criticism of former DL coach Sam Clancy and WR coach Hub Alexander.
