Yeah it looked like Kromer had his hands too full to handle his basic job duty...the O-Line!!

ok....how about... Rome wasnt built in a day. Give Spag sometime. I trust our defense will get better in his system. I mean, its not like there was a lack of pressure. There was a poop-ton of pressure. Our d-line was in the backfield almost every pass play. How many times did you see Griffin get drilled right after he threw it? Ill tell you...a lot! Face it, Griffin was just a tough guy to bring down. He got rid of when he needed to, or if he didnt have a reciever, he got away from would-be tacklers. |

Re: Trust in Spags?
You know they said that his d always starts slow. This was his third time he had been dropped a 40-burger on starting a new d. So he starts off slow, ok i will give him that but. damn man, we really don't have a few years to wait.
Our window is only open for a few more years, then its a totally rebuild all over again. Brees will not be our guy for that much longer, we need so so much more help. We have to fix this and now .......... |

[QUOTE=Danno;436243]Our offense looked much much worse than our defense.

Re: Trust in Spags?
Well it didn't look good today. The one thing I will say is in the year the giants won the Super Bowl with Spags as DC, they allowed 80 points in their first 2 games (45 to Dallas, 35 to GB). Now granted both those teams finished 13-3, but I'm willing to give it a little more time before I hit the panic button. Getting some of our starters (especially at corner) healthy and back on the field would definitely help.
