Trust in Spags?

this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; well what do you think now. As for me this was a wake up call, we need so much more help on the D. It can be the coaching to, but we just dont have the players at all...

I'll reserve my judgement until after more than one game...

Our offense looked much much worse than our defense.

Trust in Kromer?

Slags hasn't earned any trust after this game.

I have to ask...why do we always need a wakeup call?
I agree- we do not have the personnel. No pressure, bad tackling, no adjustments.
How many times did they run that WR screen on the first drive?
Ho many times with the fake short handoff into a rollout? We over-pursued that one 20 times.

Re: Trust in Spags?

We've been blessed with this "not completely terrible" D now, so we can't ask too much considering the amount of points we put up per week with our O. We have gobs of talent on the D which can't tackle or apparently play within a system too well (note to self: redefine what "gobs of talent" actually means later).

Just as long as our D holds the other team to a number lower than the number we have will do for now at the immediate future. We'll need patience with the current D system, though I still really only trust Joe Pesci.
