how do you not figure cam newton is going to RUN? if its goal to go. HE'S RUNNING. dont even bother with those receivers. COVER THE RUN. hes not a quarterback. he's a runner.

It feels to me like they maybe OVER estimated RGIII as a runner and then UNDER estimated Cam as a runner. Just a thought. You're right, there's no way Cam should be able to run in untouched for a goal line TD that the WHOLE WORLD knows is coming.

It might be time to let the youngsters get experience. Our defense cannot be any worse for it.

I couldn't agree more. I'd bench every starter if for no other reason than to send a message. We're 0-2 and given up what, 75 freakin points to two teams who may not combine for that again all year.

One good thing is the defense has to improve at some point, no way they can keep staying this bad...

Spags is supposed to start slow everywhere he has been a DC

Starting of slow, That might be true but they had a way better talent than what we have.

Hey I'm not twisting anything, we just might have the worst d in the league. No pass rush, and no Db's. I want us to win like everyone else on this form. I'm not here to say I told you so. I'm just calling it as I see it.
I want to fix it, so like I asked before on this thread... How? how do we fix this so we can get back on track?
My answer, run the damn ball, be better in the red zone, stop DROPPING passes. That is now we fix our D.

Yep. We could be 2-0 if it wasn't for that. And not just in the red zone either. Did any of our receivers not drop one today?
