Re: Versus the Chiefs
The question is do we want to. We need a major infusion of talent and we'll only get that with draft picks. It's obvious that, without a coach, this team is a ship without a rudder and is going nowhere. The colts bit the bullet last year and threw the season and now they have a foundation to build on. We need to do the same.

Re: Versus the Chiefs
So based on what Shanle said, we can only win a playoff game (should we get there) if we do not face an unconventional QB?

Can't believe after 2 games people are ready to write this team off!

Its like "Suck for Luck" all over again What's the cutesy rhyme this year? Is there even anyone worth tanking a season for? "Jonesin' for Jones" (Jarvis Jones, LB from UGA) |

Re: Versus the Chiefs
the chiefs do have plenty of weapons to utilize this year
Thunder/Lightning in Hillis/Charles Bowe is a very good receiver Also Dexter McCluster is no joke, and if Eric Berry is healthy he's a good safety. KC is no pushover, but I do think we should beat them with whatever Domefield advantage we still have |

Re: Versus the Chiefs
OK, let's do it your way. Let's go out and win a couple of meaningless games. Let's beat the chefs, the raiders, maybe the yucks and cats at home, maybe win one or two other games and go 6-10 or 8-8 or whatever and then, instead of drafting at the top of rounds, be drafting in the middle like always and have to trade away draft picks to get players we need. (re: Mark Ingram) Does winning meaningless games REALLY mean that much? I'm more worried about the future than I am about this year where we've already fallen coming out of the blocks.
