Versus the Chiefs

Chiefs actually have a lot of weapons. Hillis ran all over us back when Cleveland came to the dome in 2010.

With our defense as pathetic as it is I'm gonna guess they score at least 30 points (and I'm being conservative).

Defense will have to show us something... Force them to punt a time or two and maybe...

Cassel will throw for 300/Bowe will have 100yds receiving. This should be a get well game, i'm not giving up hope, we just need to score 40.

I think the defense will look better against conventional offenses; the preseason game against the Patriots(starters vs. starters) immediately comes to mind.

I'm not saying we'll be that good, but has to be an improvement over the first two games. Maybe Greer will start this game and Patrick will take over the nickle...

I totally agree with this. RGIII and Newton are two Qbs a defense learning a new scheme are going to take some time to get used to.Hopefully playing them early like we did was actually a good growing experience for us.

Linebacker Scott Shanle said initial impressions of the Saints' defense could be skewed because New Orleans opened with a pair of unconventional, dual-threat quarterbacks: Washington's Robert Griffin III, then Newton.

Yet the Saints spent nearly the entire offseason learning how their new defense works against conventional drop-back passers, which is what they will see this Sunday against Kansas City and quarterback Matt Cassel.

"The past two weeks, we've been running defenses to take things away things you really don't work on a whole lot," Shanle said. "It'll be good to get back to conventional stuff."

Hope this is the case

If the defense does come out with a show of force it could provide a lot of confidence for the team. The killer is having to go to green bay the next weekend - which I am dreading. If we end up facing the packers at 1-2 it will be our first true statement game to see where the team is at.
