Thunder/Lightning in Hillis/Charles Bowe is a very good receiver Also Dexter McCluster is no joke, and if Eric Berry is healthy he's a good safety. KC is no pushover, but I do think we should beat them with whatever Domefield advantage we still have |

Re: Versus the Chiefs
OK, let's do it your way. Let's go out and win a couple of meaningless games. Let's beat the chefs, the raiders, maybe the yucks and cats at home, maybe win one or two other games and go 6-10 or 8-8 or whatever and then, instead of drafting at the top of rounds, be drafting in the middle like always and have to trade away draft picks to get players we need. (re: Mark Ingram) Does winning meaningless games REALLY mean that much? I'm more worried about the future than I am about this year where we've already fallen coming out of the blocks.

Re: Versus the Chiefs
so wait; we are supposed to throw away the rest of the season so we can get the top draft pick?

The thing is that this season ended before it started when our coach was taken away. I've had season tickets since I graduated from college and will have them for the next 20 years (god willing). I'm no longer concerned about this year. I want to have a team to cheer for the next 20. |

Re: Versus the Chiefs
Absolutely the Saints can beat the Chiefs!
I'm from Kansas City and I have been a Chiefs fan since I was a kid and when I was 12 years old and they won the Super Bowl I wore that sweatshirt with pride till it fell apart. Yes the Chiefs have some talent but I honestly feel they have also been out coached the last two games GM Piloli is taking most of the heat this week for Sundays embarrassing 35-17 loss against the Bills - but I think there's plenty of blame to go around. Arrowhead is loud - real loud - but the dome should play a factor - if the fans make it loud and keep it that way for the entire game. ![]() |

Re: Versus the Chiefs
0-2 people. KC is a beatable team. It's in our house. Granted I have no confidence in our defense but I do think we can put up more than they can and win it. We are a good enough offense to stay .500 while our defense rounds into below average form and actually gives us a chance to win a few where we can't score 30.
