Sorry to upset the fairweather Saints fans, but it's not going to happen. Our D line is not going to work with the current line up.
You can teach technique until your eyes turn blue, but you can't teach heart. This group, as a whole, has no heart. Bunkley is the most aggresive of front. Will Smith forgot that he's not suspended. Jordan is a work in progress. I don't know where is Ellis is. The LB's can't get swallowed by the O line for this system to work. They have to be able to play more coverage and be able to protect the edges better. They haven't been able to with 5 man O lines stepping on their laces. |
