What about running on again on 2nd down and trying to get more manageable 3rd downs instead of getting sacked for a safety or getting intercepted because you force a long throw to a covered man? Just cuz you run on first down don't mean you're sticking to the running game your just teasing the running game game and not letting them get a rhythm. PT is has produced on every carry pretty much but he gets one touch a possession then tossed to the side like a illegitimate child a parent is trying to appease so the one that you adore (Brees) can play the hero.

Disagree with that on the Brees comment. I think that running on first down was producing, in the 2nd half, next to no yards or negative yards, so on 2nd we had to throw. Bad play calling. IMHO |
