Saints fans in low spirits after loss to Chiefs .
NEW ORLEANS - It was a stinging loss for the Who Dat nation as hopes were high the Saints would get back on track with Sunday's match-up against a team that was also winless coming in.
"I just can't believe. Right at the end. I can't believe it," one fan said. Moments after the Saints' shocking collapse was complete, fans filing out of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome sounded off on what they'd just witnessed. Some blamed the Black and Gold's stagnant second half offense, while others blamed the porous defense. "It is frustrating, you know. I mean, it's like they didn't anticipate they were gonna have to stop the run and stop the pass, like it was totally new to them," another fan lamented. Most seem to agree that there have been too many problems on both sides of the ball. And a common concern centers on one key absence in the Saints organization. "Sean Payton's not here. I mean, it was the truth last year when he was in the box. We felt the effects when he was in the box, so now he's not in the Dome at all. We need Payton," said a man leaving the game. Everyone is entitled to be stupid, but some abuse the privilege.
All little common sense goes a long way. |
