Re: Time to trade for defensive help?
Exactly. We're only short 1 pick and we'll be OK cap wise especially with Bushrod (2013 UFA 8 mill this season)
Will Smith (due 15 mill in 2013, ain't gonna happen) Roman Harper (due 8 mill, will renegotiate or bye bye) Sedrick Ellis (2013 UFA, 8 mill this season) Malcolm Jenkins (due 4 mill, will renegotiate or bye bye) Thats over 40 million coming off the books next season. I'd imagine we try and resign all at much lower salaries. |

Re: Time to trade for defensive help?
Yeah I am struggling to like him more and more as the games go by. I do think Carmichael is handcuffing him though. It is common knowledge now that when Ingram is in the backfield it is a run. Hard to surprise a D when as soon as they see your face they adjust the D play.

Re: Time to trade for defensive help?
Exactly. I haven't been a fan of this thought mainly because I still don't think we have seen him used to his capability, but what about Ingram?

To think we traded up just to get Ingram...

Harper is playing out of position...he'd be a better lb than Shanle. I think we could upgrade these positions for the same price
