The problem with Ingram is that it looks like he's the type of back that needs consistent carries to get in rhythm and develop. While he may or may not become a very good back, I don't think we'll ever get the chance to find out in the type of system we run barring injuries. I'm not comparing his talents to Deuce McAllister but... remember how he use to just grind out ten 3-4 yard runs and then just break one for 30-40 yards? Ingram is a 20+ carry back... just not here, not now.
Bush had the same problem at first. He finally learned somewhat, to follow his lineman, but then he would out run their protection.
