Re: So is the season still over from some...
There were lots of splashes in the water earlier as people were jumping out the rigging, now it's quieted down.
The character of the team this year is like the "I'm not dead yet" guy in Monty Python. They are feeling better. They beat Denver and they will start singing. They will not be out of the playoffs until Goodell looks around to see if anyone else is looking, and then clubs them out of the playoffs with a blow to the head. |

I understand getting pressure from this D is not going to happen but that's not even the main issue. Poor tackling, bad angles, and just being flat out of position. If they fix that this can be an average defense and at the end of the day that's all we need.

I've been wondering if Loomis is planning some type of trade. I'm sure that he has scoured the different teams that have something to offer.
He can do the math at home and implement his plan the day he gets back. I truly believe that we have a 50/50 shot of getting an impact DT when he gets back in charge.(err maybe 60/40 or 70/30) Unless of course he's busy and tied up with the Hornets. |

People are dreaming. We do NOT have the defense to make the playoffs! The two games we've won were over lousy teams and we BARELY won. Three of the four teams we've lost to are terrible and the other is only average.

Still skeptical with this D, but a lot more hope that post KC game. I think we finish 8-8 at worst now. A few weeks ago it looked more like 5-11.
Let's get to 4-4 first, then black Atlanta's eye and I'll be sold on playoffs. |
