I don't think his contract being toiled will have anything to do with weather or not he stays. If they can't get him locked up long term before next season they are going to move on. No point in putting things off to let him play for just one year if he does in fact want out.

He doesn't want out. He was already locked up long term with the voided contract. He didn't want it voided. The league simply didn't like one clause.
