I'm sorry if anyone wrote this already and I missed it...trying to post on my lunch break, so I had to scan quickly:
if you look at the interception in the original post, the ironic thing about it is that it's really thrown in a spot that should be nearly impossible to intercept. Yes, it's thrown high but that should lead to either Colston going up to get it or it sailing over everyone's heads, incomplete. There wasn't a safety so far back that it could have been picked if Colston just lets it go. No, I'm not blaming Colston for trying to make a play, I'm just saying when Drew threw the ball, I doubt "Colston hitting the ball off his hands into the hands of a defender" was one of the options that went through his mind. |
