Cut bait on Cie
Billy - his knees are supposedly structurally sound, but apparently he will always play with pain. He is definitely injury prone at this point in his career.
That said, there\'s no way you dump him yet. I thought the talk of dumping Stallworth was nuts. He definitely needs to sack up this year, but you don\'t cut him. Same goes for Cie. He needs to get healthy but he\'s a long way from being cut. |

Cut bait on Cie
I remember that talk. Can you imagine if we would have cut Donte\'? Just imagine if our defense had to face Donte\' !! That\'s a scary thought !! That kid has had some hamstring problem but the kid has heart. I wouldn\'t want us to face a motivated Donte\' Stallworth. I wouldn\'t want to face him period!! You know, now that I\'m thinking about it, I wouldn\'t want to face our offense !! It\'s a monster full of play-makers. Deuce, Brooks, Donte\', Pathon, Devery, Boo, Conwell, and the O-line. Hopefully, it all comes together this year :exclam: |

Cut bait on Cie
Most of you regulars know my philosophy but I think the best we can do with Cie is keep him as a bad-ass back-up, at two LB positions.
Let him continue to learn the MLB, to back up Watson and Ruff if necessary. He could easily slide over to the WLB as Rodgers primary back-up. It will prolong his career being an awesome back-up at two LB positions. Somebody need a breather??? In comes Cie with his blazing speed and big hit ability. He could probably play all 16 games as a solid back-up, and spot start if necessary. He\'s a 3rd round pick. He\'s not costing us a fortune to keep him. Why cut him? [Edited on 20/8/2004 by Danno] |
