Georgia OLB Jarvis Jones met with the New Orleans Saints on March 20.
Jones revealed the information after his pro day, when he also noted that he plans to meet with three more teams in the near future. The three teams are the Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles and Detroit Lions. All four teams are going to be looking to adding more pass-rushers. Kwame Geathers DE/NT Georgia Height: 6053 Weight:342 Arm Length:3525 Hand Size:905 40 time 5.44/5.35 20 split 10 split 1.88 SS 20: 5.27 3 Cone:8.11 Vert:26.5/29 Broad: 96.0/103 Bench: 21 he is now a solid 4th what holds him back is he has never been a starter. if he is there in the third you need to think long and hard about pulling the trigger. in the fourth i would not think twice |

I prefer TJ Barnes to Geathers...
Stronger, Solid Core Guy compared to Geathers... Pick Barnes in the fifth and finish developing him and coaching him up at a fraction of the cost... |

TJ Barnes yep he is another one thats under the media radar. they both could easly be the last two picks we make also.
in gathers defense he played JCC and 1 year of college at DE and NT. so he is a project. he is a true tweener thats for sure. Arm Length:3525 effect the bench? the wing span is freaking scary |

Just watched a bit about the Georgia pro day on NFL.com
That 40 time Jones did was on grass against the wind according to Mayock. It might not be the issue some people think it is.if thats the case. I think Jordan will be off the board at 15 possibly Ansah could be gone too.Im sold on Ansah personally,i think we need players that can make a impact now as opposed to a project that could come good next year in that department.With that i suppose if we dont sign Butler and go OLB in the first it will be between Jarvis Jones,Mingo and Damontre Moore. All of them have question marks,how does everyone rank them? |
