- Get Shawn Back asap

- Resign Ivory and dangle him for a late second or early third round.

- Trade Harper for a pick ( He doesn't fit in the system and is a complete liability now)

- Trade Jenkins for a pick or put him back as a slot corner ( where he can be the ball hawk we know he can be

- Groom Quaddus to take over one of the safety spots....

- Draft Dion Jordan during a full defensive draft with one offensive selection of a RT in the forth round.

- Do not remain loyal to underperforming talent..... Strief, Smith, Vilma, Ellis, etc

- Pick the Free Agency clean but do it smart..... Jake Long, Dashon Golston, DRC, Miami's 6'3 corner free agent whose name escapes me. Should be who you target.

I like most of it but i don`t see Ivory going for a second or third rounder.
Not sure if we can afford all of the FA either.

RCB draft/Jenkins LCB P Rob S draft/Quddos, SS battle it out between draft/Harper/bush/white/Mack.

Offense pretty much the same besides Streif and Henderson. Draft takes Streifs place. Morgan takes Hendersons place. Then colston Moore and let Toon and Arrington battle it out for the number 4 WR spot

I think we'd be in the superbowl, with the players that we have, if Payton would've been coaching. He knows how to get the most out of all his players. Even with our horrible defense, we contended in almost every game (except Denver), and most of out losses probably came down to coaching. That being said, we could greatly improve our team with upgrades in defensive backfield and O-tackles. We should also think about bringing in another kicker.

Why not the Denver game as well?

The offense played as flat as I have ever seen them play in that game, with the games against Atlanta and the Giants being 2nd and 3rd.

Although in the Giants game, if the ST hadn't been hemorraging TDs and huge KO returns, I think the offense would have done a better.

For some reason, I don't remember ever feeling like we were IN that game - like we didnt show up and compete that day. Ive just about erased that game from my memory - all I remember is feeling like we didnt have a chance with the way we were playing.

Manning smoked us that game and their D stalled every drive. We were never in that game nor the Giants game.

You could see it in the Denver game, they went for it on 4th down and didn't get it, and then they immediately PANICKED like a jittery spooked horse, it was all garbage from that point forward....the panic thing, which is basically on coaching, again....although we were outclassed by the Broncos at most individual positions, we were looking good and were seriously still in the game until that 4th down failed, then it completely collapsed from there.

Hey, we're at rock bottom. At worse I'd go sideways. All I'd have to do it blitz about every 3 plays and I'd be a middle-of-the-pack coach with prospects.

I think the altitude had a lot to do with how the Saints played that night; if you cant breathe, you are way behind the count.
