If someone was willing to pay me $100 million to do my job I would take it. Sure we had Manning in the 70s and, yes, we had no one else around him to produce any wins, but that is not the case now. We have an excellent team that didn't perform well last season for a lot of reasons. Our defense certainly needs improving and I think we will see that happen with Payton's return and a new defensive coordinator. Also, Archie was the highest paid player in the league at one point in his Saints career just as Drew is now. Drew certainly has a lot more to work with than he did so let's see how this season plays out before we call him out for his large paycheck. Down the road, if restructuring is needed, I think Drew will step up.
