this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I'd really like to see us keep Ivory. I love his punishing, physical style when running the ball......

Agreed. I think what works against us getting a second or even a third rounder for Ivory is the fact that he always seems to be hurt.
But I would rather see the team keep the extra running backs on the roster. Depth will be more important there if we are going to run the ball more than we did a year ago. |

Re: Trade down value-how far are you willing to drop?
I say to hell with trading down. Next year we wont be drafting anywhere near as high and punk ass Roger would love for us to end up with just average guys. Thats his plan all along. I hope we keep the pick and draft a defensive M.V.P and one of Rogers family members {maybe if he has sons or someone real close to him}plays against the saints and the guy we drafted gives Rogers family member a concus and he becomes a vegetable. Then we r even.

Trade down around 15 spots = gain a mid 2nd rounder
Trade down around 20 spots = gain an early 2nd rounder History has it you get more in value than these. It costs to get a team to give up a first rounder. The Patriots traded their 28th overall pick to the New Orleans Saints for a 2011 second rounder pick (56th overall) and a first round selection in 2012 I think we have a shot at trading with a team looking for OG this year. it is a weak year for interior line man in the mid rounds. opps back on topic i would not mind trading out of one all together bank roll a pick for next year. i am a fan of baby stepping down. i always like building depth in rounds 3 to 5. |

I hate to be like that but the dude is hating on us. He knows what our running back is capable of and thats why he made the crown rule. I was wanting one of yall to get him during the superbowl. He is going to ruin the N.F.L.

Re: Trade down value-how far are you willing to drop?
I would like us to trade down enough to see us pick 2 times in the 2nd round, there will be some real good players left in the 2nd and 3rd rounds, their there every year. That big, big DT out of Georgia in the 3rd.
