Saints Depth Chart 2013

Why do I get the feeling that we're going to bounce Martez around at different positions every year and we'll never see his true potential? That's why I'm really hoping he excels this year as the Sam and we have a badass to be proud of for years to come!

Chris, going to the 34 is a step in the right direction for the team and for Martez...

True my friend. Wilson, Galette, Jordan, Bunkley, and Hicks are all much better fits in a 3-4.

The only players not better (on paper) are Smith, Vilma and Lofton. And it remains to be seen if they actually play worse in our version of the 3-4. Who knows... they may even play better.

Agreed, though I think Lofton may actually surprise in the 34 on the inside as his pass coverage responsibilities will be shared with another ILB as the flaw in Lofton's game has reportedly been his breakdowns in pass coverage adjustments...

I'm betting all but Chamberlain are locks for the 53, barring injury.
