Vilma in our 3-4 scheme

I agree with Danno, and I'd be a little worried if I was Lofton, because he seemed to me like he was brought in to replace Vilma when Vilma's future was uncertain with the suspensions and injuries (remember before the penalties came down people were speculating about a possible lifetime ban for Vilma), and although I don't dislike him, to me Lofton kinda has the stink of the Spagnuolo hire upon him now, he's kind of a symbol of the "worst defense in history" 4-3 era from when Payton was mostly out of the building, and now the team is clearly moving in a different direction.

I want to see how Lofton handles the Ryan 3-4, before I give up on him.

Hey Mitch,
Why would you want to give up on Lofton? In my opinion, he along with Cam Jordan were one of the very few on D last season who didn't have the U-Haul packed and ready for vacation. Lofton will be fine... even more so with The Big Lebowski calling the shots in the 3-4.

I agree with concerns but i have to put the entire roster of ILB we have now.

this is going to be one of the area to watch for sure
