this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; I don't think I've ever been as fired up about one of our 1st round picks as I am about this young man. I'm totally out of control. I'm seeing Ed Reed and Troy Polamalu all rolled into one....

3 years from now we can resurrect the threads where people called the pick bad. |

"et tu Brute"?!? Thought we could count on you for a little cynicism and temperance in expectations of the rookie...

" Is Kenny Vaccaro the start of the golden age of 1st Round Hall-of-Fame Daft Picks for the Saints? Let's hope so! "
Lets hope so is right. |

Re: 1st Round Pick Draft Suckage
Why has nobody pointed out the unfortunate typo where I referred to Kenny Vaccaro as a 'Daft Pick'

Funny; we're going back to a very similar system... And now with Vaccaro in the mix; there will be times that all 3 safeties are on the field at the same time and Harper will most likely be blitzing at will ![]() |

Harper did that very well and thats what he received that huge contract for. Fifteen yards and in is where Harper shines. Outside of that 15 yards is when he gets into trouble, like most SS's do. The real headscratcher was Jenkins. He seemed ideal for that deep centerfield saftey spot Spags runs. I'll chalk his down year up to the Spags disaster too. |
