Best 4th Quarter QB's (08/BMG won't like this)
Best QB's in the 4th quarter over the last 10 years...
Brooks #4 Ahead of McNabb, Favre, Elway, Brunnell and Brady. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/7731297 Wow. That even surprised me a bit. Pretty good article. I guess the Brooks haters must of overlooked this article, or they saw it and ignored it. Let me guess, someone will pull out that 5 year old scouting report on Brooks that questions his intelligence? [Edited on 29/9/2004 by Danno] |

This isn\'t that surprising. Brooks is a sandlot player. When the whole gameplan goes into the toilet, Brooks gets to freelance since there\'s nothing to lose. It hardly makes him an elite QB.

I\'m eager to hear what 08 has to say on this topic.
I guess its good that Brooks is so good in coming back at the end. Otherwise, we wouldn\'t be such a dominant .500 team. :kerry: W...Fit to Command...4 companies into bankruptcy. |

Got a great stat for you Danno one of the benefits of paying the toll :
Here are Brooks ratings as of today in the receiver sets : 2 receiver set - 119.1 3 receiver set - 90.3 4 receiver set - 82.9 The more the Saints advertise the pass , the less effective Brooks is . The laser arm plays great against a defense playing not to let the ball go deep .... |

That seems completely counter-intuitive. Are you sure about those numbers? It seems to me we suck generally out of a two WR set - we seem to have much greater production in a 3 WR set. ??? Something ain\'t stirring the Koolaid man.

2 receiver set - 119.1 3 receiver set - 90.3 4 receiver set - 82.9 Shotgun formation - 88.3 These stats are so far this season , and Brooks does big business with the play action pass . Want too see if they drop with deuce out , should be real interesting .... |
