Well well well.

Re: Haralson a Saint
We sure didn't waste any time.

Re: Haralson a Saint
I can only assume there was a reason. Either he is better than we think or we were worse off than assumed.
I expected to hear something tomorrow. |
Re: Haralson a Saint
Wow, nice! This guy is a playmaker! And also is the one who picked Brees for 6 last year if I'm not mistaken!!!

Re: Haralson a Saint
You might be thinking of someone else if it were last year.

Re: Haralson a Saint
Saints acquired OLB Parys Haralson from the 49ers in exchange for undisclosed compensation.
The Saints are the most desperate team in football when it comes to pass rushers, and this move just confirms it. The 49ers were going to cut Haralson. 29 years old, Haralson didn't play a down last season due to a triceps tear, and hasn't registered more than five sacks in any campaign since 2008. He's a long shot to help New Orleans. Meanwhile, the 49ers are loaded with pass rushers. They have Cam Johnson and rookie Corey Lemonier coming off highly impressive preseasons behind Aldon Smith and Ahmad Brooks. Source: San Jose Mercury News Mercy, they sound so negative. Suck it rotoworld and the San Jose Mercury News. |

Re: Haralson a Saint
Meh, not terribly excited about this one. I guess he'll be a decent to OK backup if he's over the injury.
|
Re: Haralson a Saint
Wait and See, I guess...
|
Re: Haralson a Saint
If the compensation is what I anticipate it to be, I don't see any negatives to the move. No qualms here. Hopefully he comes over with a big chip on his shoulders and rips Kaepernick a new one when we play them.
|
Re: Haralson a Saint
not to mention, he's actually a true 3-4 OLB...

Re: Haralson a Saint
I was against this, but I ain't gonna whine about it too much. A pure OLB who has played OLB for his whole career. He can help mentor the young'uns we have at LB. Oh, and we better not have given up something ridiculous for him.

Here is the only question that should matter..is he better than Will Smith?

Re: Haralson a Saint
And the Saints acquired a QB with a bad shoulder from San Diego.
Give it a chance. |
