Totally and utterly agree. He did come with a high price, what with being a first round pick but to compare him against lower drafted players is far too easy to do. On that basis, you could say Marque Colston is the best WR that ever walked the earth .... ok he is ... bad example .... but you know what I mean

I still believe that a player like Ingram who gets 15-20 carries a game, every game is no different to someone like Trent Richardson who I rate highly. In fact put Trent Richardson into our lineup, the way we play, and I wonder if his stats would be much different to those of Ingram. But he was a #3 overall pick. And he isn't being considered a bust because of the offence he plays in.

Quick aside, the ball spike in frustration did not go unnoticed and was very unprofessional. It did indeed smart of him taking it out on the O-line and that is not acceptable from ANY player.

I've seen Brees throw the ball down after a false start penalty. Did you guys hammer him too?

I agree but Ingram's ball toss last night was a selfish move and it just looked bad. It looked as thought Mark did it not because of the play, but because he was in the game playing with less talented players. When we see Brees spiking the ball its the same as him saying " hey guys didn't we go over this in practice all week". On the field coaching type of thing.

That's all pure speculation. You have no idea why he did that or what he meant by it.
He may have been frustrated because he couldn't break enough tackles to gain some yardage.
