this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; IF we must, I don't think Zach is the answer as Drews replacement. I think we still have another year or two after this with Drew at the helm and would like to see how this read option QB experiment ...

IF we must, I don't think Zach is the answer as Drews replacement. I think we still have another year or two after this with Drew at the helm and would like to see how this read option QB experiment works out. It may be a flash in the pan but if it is indeed the future for QBs I would rather try and go that direction.
I really do like Johnny Football though, he needs to mature a bit, but his antics may just hurt his draft status enough for him to fall close to our pick. Payton will straighten him out if need be. |

Payton has shown zero interest in players that need to be straightened out. I tend to think that is one of the reasons that Ivory is no longer a Saint. |
