Well we got a bigtime mulligan in Tampa. Hopefully we will crush Arizona as revenge for 2010. We have the 10th ranked defense now, btw. |

You're right, it's bizarre.
Then Pierre gets blindsided, plowed into and gets his clock cleaned while chasing after the runback of the interception, it's painful to watch. Ugh. |

Re: Week 3 Saints vs Cardinals
Do not allow explosive returns by Arizona's return team and I think we win this game by double digits. If Arizona is in this game, their special teams will have been a big part of it.

The next four games until the bye week are all going to be tough. But you have to play the best along the way to be the best. Crossing my fingers, I am hoping we can escape to be 6 and Eaux!

The Atlanta/Miami game this week will tell a lot about the Dolphins. Arizona is squeaking by and Fiz is hurt Chicago is squeaking by also having won two games by less than 3 By the time we get the Pat's they will have been hammered by Atlanta and Tampa bay... Dolphins are the only team that are 1TD+ net on the season. |

Re: Week 3 Saints vs Cardinals
The thing we have been doing really well through two games is getting pressure up top. We haven't necessarily looked like sack monsters but we are right up in the QB's face. Jordan and Hicks, for me, have been superb. That has made throwing into our secondary a much tougher feat. Jenkins and Harper look rejuvenated and Vaccaro is playing like a 1st round draft pick!
If our offence can get any semblance of a game going, especially if we get the run game going (probably through someone who is not Mark Ingram) then there is a very real chance that we could do some double digit damage in this one. Ball security is the key. No errant passes to Patrick Peterson! Saints finally get rolling. 31-17. |
