Trade him to Detroit, then he can skip one whole move in his life.

In all seriousness ... No team can draft 2 Heisman winning running backs where both turn out to busts and the team should be given a free pass to not even consider it might not be a problem with the backs but scheme , blocking etc ... Very different running styles , very different Offensive Line blocking for both in College. The odds of Bush and Ingram being so radically different both being busts are slim to none. It's on us , we're doing something very wrong which is why Sean Payton has been forcing Ingram so much so. He's evaluated so much film in that off year it's probably not even funny. He doesn't want to make the same mistake twice. Different things made them great , but they both had something in common around the same time they were being called busts ... The Saints

We can do the adult thing and admit our O Line couldn't clear enough ground for an ant to squeak through or we can make the same childish 4 year old finger pointing mistake as usual.

Fact , any and everytime Ingram , Sproles , Thomas , Robinson , Ivory , Bell , Bush , Collins , Cadet , get's a decent blocking line , They Shine ...

For 2 weeks I have watched this line get massacred and barely squeak by. Even on Drew's highlight throws he's a millisecond from being sacked. ( Umneyoira on the Colston throw ) This cannot continue , I haven't seen Brees hit that hard and often in a very long time !

Displaced...

...when his touches have gone over 15, over a couple of games, when he was younger, he's had wear-down type injuries; we've discussed this here before ad nauseum...

Might not be a bad idea ... Bush already went down in Week 2 with a knee injury, and if his time in New Orleans is any indication, that'll be the status quo. Already got Joique Bell, I'm sure they could find a place for Ingram,.

Too bad they couldn't of worked something out for Robert Porcher (D/L) prior to him leaving ... the Lions could feed the Saints defensive lineman and the Saints could continue sending running backs Detroit's way, it's a win-win,.

After reading all the opinions & observations on Ingram and from what I've seen of the lad, you got to use him or lose him ... he's obviously not happy in running-back-by-committee so either give him the carries and let him succeed/fail or send him to Indy/Detroit/Pittsburgh etc... where he'll get the carries and succeed/fail.

Just give him the rock (anywhere) and let him sink or swim ... if he swims, he gets a nice contract, if he sinks, he gets discarded to the NFL junkpile. It's a cruel world, :).

Tell ya what- Sean better get off his high horse and start one of those other guys because we have 0, and I mean 0 run game right now. I am glad he keeps doing it even though it isn't working, but we need to start to move the ball. MI cannot seem to get it done so bring in the young Robinson and at least give the guy a shot. Back in the day when our running game was stalled we'd bring in Ivory let him knock over like 4 people and that would get the rest of our guys going. We have nothing right now. PT cannot carry the load as a full time RB. Nope. We need to find someone who can get it done.

I have no doubt that MI is a professional and trying to be successful. He just doesn't seem to be able to get it done.

I am willingly eatting crow on this guy.

He is done. We should have shipped him off. He's never going to get the 15-20 touches "He needs" to "Get up to game speed".

I'm sorry, but he is a bust for the Saints. He may do great things elsewhere; but for us he is taking up space.

Someone pass the pepper please.

Our run game was stellar last season until Ivory entered the game and everyone responded, the O-line looked better, the backs looked better, he!! even Brees looked better, then they put him on the bench, I did not like that at all. I am a firm believer in if a player has a hot hand keep it going, the entire team can feed off of it. We need someone to give us that spark and Payton to keep that hot hand feed.

I would not call last years run game stellar. Even when Ivory was finally put in. It improved with him, but not enough.
