Part of me wonders if the players ever look at the forum to see the fans opinion of themand the games

For the Ingram Haters
Saints' Drew Brees defends teammate Mark Ingram | New Orleans Saints | The Sun Herald
Give the guy a line ... |
Re: For the Ingram Haters
Of course a player like Brees is going to defend his team mate. What do you expect him to say.

1 play.... He didnt mention the 100+ others.

Re: For the Ingram Haters
While I admire drew for sticking up for his teammate I don't think he believes what he says. Now, I definitely think we can come up with more creative ways of using ingram instead of making him our "power" back but at the end of the day, I'm just not seeing the production. Hope he turns it around but I'm skeptical at this point.

Re: Ingram- What do we do with him?
Well he didn't practice on Wednesday. Which makes me look at that picture Oak posted, and now I actually DO think I see Ingram's TOE and FOOT getting all jammed up.
Not making excuses for him. But I'll tell you what, on page 23 of this thread, I'm starting to feel in my gut that if the toe thing is anything more than trivial, if there is ANYTHING to it at all, if it's anything more than stubbed....then this could be a perfect excuse to sit Ingram without "benching" him, and let somebody else take a shot. Saves face for everybody. Suit him up, but sideline him for a few weeks, put someone else out there, and if someone else gets a hot hand, you quietly inactivate Ingram and let him slip him into non-dressing oblivion. I keep going back to the body language from Brees and Payton after that failed 4th down attempt. Haven't seen anything lke it recently. And for Payton to come right out like that and say it was his OWN fault, I think that means he won't let it happen again. Meaning he won't let HIMSELF (Payton) get himself into a situation where Ingram can fail him. That's what I think he's really saying. |
Re: For the Ingram Haters
Team Captain being politically correct..........what a concept.
Of course, he's going to say that. |
