Re: Garrett Hartley
That would have been a crucial 3 points, early today. This man basically cannot be counted upon.
It's sad. Alaska |

Re: Garrett Hartley
If hartley is released, no doubt he will go on to be the NFL scoring leader in FG's
thats just what happens to people that leave our team |
Re: Garrett Hartley
It's not just the 3pts NOT on the scoreboard, it's the deflation to the team's momentum in a game...
He's just not focused... |

He didn't cost us the game on his own but he definitely contributed. |
Re: Garrett Hartley
It might be time. Who is out their better then him.

Hartley was the only non-problem we had yesterday.

A kicker missing a FG on the opening drive has no effect on morale? Part of Hartleys issue is that he kicks better with pressure, the situational stats prove that. Problem is that when he misses one on an opening drive and we find our self down by 9 in the bottom of the 4th we have to score on two possessions rather than a TD on one. IF we were down by 6 in the bottom of the 4th it would have been different play calling and we would have gone for it on 4th. |

Like Ingram, I wish the kid just rack up the points and scapegoating him doesn't do jack if the team still employs him. If SP's gesture gives him confidence, AWESOME! Just MAKE THE KICKS! We had problems yesterday and if Hartley made the early FG, the game approach and momentum would have been different. BUT from what I saw, we had chances to win that game besides Hartley's miss. The reasons we failed to capitalize on those chances concerns me more than a missed FG at this point. |

Well he is the Kicker no matter what occurs. Just deal with it!

Re: Garrett Hartley
Wait. We were up in the JETS game by what, 14-3.
Is that right? I think it was 14-3. We lose the game 26-20 and we want to blame the idiot kicker? Well, idiot is right, but that adjective is in front of the wrong noun... |
Re: Garrett Hartley
The Texans are holding kicker tryouts today.

Re: Garrett Hartley
Its time to let him go, SB 44 was 4 years go and he's still missing kicks
|
Re: Garrett Hartley
At least he isn't missing them like the Texans kicker. They have 3 kickers in for tryouts today.
|
Re: Garrett Hartley
look how many more kicks do you want him to miss before its too many... Im tired of hartley he is inconsistant !!!!!!! yeah brought us to the super bowl n 09 guess what fellas time to get over that... time for him to go...

Between 30-49 yards, he's 10-15. Thats terrible, and dead last in the NFL by a long shot. |
Re: Garrett Hartley
What kicker is out there that would be better?

In overall Percentage (accuracy) he is 27th. <-- What counts and no where near the middle. |

Re: Garrett Hartley
one thing is clear, none of us could replace any of the kickers on the team.

Re: Garrett Hartley
Pick up one of the kickers that doesn't get the Texans job
