Re: MI active. Let the hating begin
This thread was "epic fail" from the title and the very first post, he was never "active," he merely returned to practice. I am glad people got to share and vent their feelings about Mark Ingram and get things off their chests, but personally, I am going the other direction completely. I don't even think about him anymore.
Khiry Robinson looks solid, and has been growing up right before our eyes out there. THAT'S the guy who is going to replace Pierre Thomas someday when Pierre finally hangs up the pads, which is what I'm far more worried about long term. I feel like THAT decision has pretty much already been made, or is solidifying right now. Robinson has a future with this team as a younger PT version 2.0, for when that day finally comes a few years from now. Ingram may stick around, or he may go somewhere else, he may even stay here another full two years of his full contract, but to me he's not really Mr. Relevant anymore. The Bills game is a LONG way away, and I would much rather see Khiry build some character and confidence by going up against their weak run defense than see Ingram out there. |

You think that all of a sudden Ingram's gonna be this awesom running back , think again hahahahah! I don't think any of us expected to go undefeated but to lose a game like this is just unacceptable. These guys are supposed to be professionals, the best there is and there should not be drop offs like this, yet this team does this same thing every year, time and time again. It's maddening. |

Re: MI active. Let the hating begin
Ingram should've played against the Pats. That was the best blocking we've done run wise in a long while. Hopefully we can carry that portion over to buffalo at the dome ...

Ingram has no vision, and seemingly no will. I see some people really get their feelings hurt when someone like me questions his desire. They insist that I don't know him. Well hey, I don't claim to know how he is off the field. Maybe he's a great person. I'm not here to judge his moral character, and I don't care to either. I speak only of what I see with my eyes. When he senses a play is breaking down, he just crumbles. The others fight for it. Even if it is just 1 yard. And eventually, if you keep fighting it will pay off. We ran the ball well yesterday when Payton finally decided to give it a try. I feel like we have a chance when Thomas, Sproles or Robinson get the ball. I don't feel that way when Ingram gets it. It's year three of this project. There is zero room for excuses anymore. Rookies out play him annually on this team. I don't hate him, and all of the bleeding hearts need to stop confusing all forms of criticism with hatred. I simply am tired of his pathetic performance. |
If I had a nickel for every time I heard that, the NFL would fine and suspend me.

I say we rally behind him. Try and get him pumped up and ready to prove us right.
Bashing him seems to be out of fan frustration and accomplishes little. |
