Do we even have salary cap room?!?
Assume he'd replace Grubbs (who's proving to be a disappointing signing for the price) but to what improvement, ends?!? How does he react to Brees-led pressure drive to win a big game, remembering he's played for Rams and Dolphins, not winners?!? Can he be TRUSTED with the Shield, Fleur-de-lis?!? What is the scope of his leaked medically-managed mental health issues?!? Our society has got to come to grips with the words like n****, redskin, and the like... And the solution is not to get a big eraser out and try to remove history, you learn from it and teach younger generations the same... And it can't be tolerated for some of society to use a word and not others - that's horse$#hit... Problem with hazing is that now there is little to nil personal judgement and restraint... Hazing stunts have now entered a zone of "how do we out-do last year's stunts?" and that leads to a critical mass scenario resulting in long-term effect from abuse and even, death... Team chemistry is important and a little nasty, toughness is so needed on the offensive line - but do you put a possible powder-keg mad man in the portcullis that protects your 20 million dollar investment at quarterback?!? |
It's not that my way is the right way, I just make the right way my way...

And yes, I thought it, didn't post it, but he still has to be available - but, it's a good discussion thread for a serious, complicated topic of players who with a personality disorder that could affect a team... |

This will turn I to Miamigate before the leagues investigation is over... Mark my words. Extortion of $15,000 - Prosecutable offense. Phone Harassment - Prosecutable offense. The racism will bring in the NAACP and could turn the above into hate crimes. Look for the NFLPA to push an investigation of the Dolphins. |

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
Agreed but it is confusing whether he meant it or was just friendly ribbing Martin. Heck, I have friends that would say something like that to me and I wouldn't take it seriously. Strange story indeed.
“I think if you had asked Jon Martin a week before who his best friend on the team was, he would have said Richie Incognito,” Tannehill said. “The first guy to stand up for Jonathan when anything went down on the field, any kind of tussle, Richie was the first guy there. When we would hang on off the field, outside football, who was together? Richie and Jon. I’m not in those guys’ shoes, I can’t explain what’s going on.” READ MORE: Ryan Tannehill says Incognito and Martin were best friends | ProFootballTalk |
One thing I learned from drinking. You should always go Christmas caroling with a group. Oh, and always in mid-December.

Incognito - Would you want him??
That is called assault and is a misdemeanor in most states. $1000 fine, 6 hours in jail...... Less of a crime than a bar fight.
It's the use of a telecommunication device to do it that elevates it. Same way fraud is a misdemeanor but "mail fraud" is a federal felony. Crimes in excess of a certain dollar amount also elevate to a felony, like extortion of $15,000. One other thing. That $15,000 if paid has salary cap implications and the league will have something to say about that. |
