Incognito or Martin - Would you want them??
If he is release from the phins would you want to pick him up? Why or Why not?
I say we do. It cant hurt us to have an enforcer on the line. I think thats what we are missing. He reminds me of Kyle Turley a lot. We all know SP and DB dont play that bully crap so I think he would be a good fit. |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
Incognito's immaturity has cost the Dolphins 2 players.
Emphatically, no. |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
No way on god's green earth would I want that piece of garbage on the Saints
|
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
You have 10 minutes to answer the question
Should the Saints sign Richie Incognito if released?. A.)No B.)Most definitely Not C.)Hell No D.)He is about as welcome as a does of the clap. E.)No Thank you |

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
I like his nastiness on the field but when what you do off the field outpaces your on the field contributions, that never works out.
|
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
I like F) Send him to Kraplanta!
|
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
There aren't many things that would make me lose my Saints fandomship. But this might actually do it.
|
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
I get that he is a douche bag off the field but remember Shocky was suppose to be that way also and SP keep him in check. Do you not think SP would have him under control if he is picked up?? Our O-line has no fight in them we need his type of enforcement, his nastyness, on the line. I really think thats what they are missing.
|
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
Shockey may have been a "douchebag"; but, if reports are to be believed, Incognito is an abusive psychopath.
Besides: HE'S A GUARD. Who do we sit, Evans or Grubbs, in order to let Incognito see the field? Or did you just want him for his locker room value? |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
No, because the "difficult" or "troubled" players that Sean Payton has chosen to take chances on and rehabilitate, guys like Anthony Hargrove, Shockey, Carl Nicks, and to a lesser extent Vilma, McCray, Heath Evans, these are guys who make poor decisions or bad behavioral issues, poor choices in friends, inexperience, things like that. That stuff you can teach, and fix.
But THIS guy's problem is way beyond douchebag or irresponsible, it represents a deeper character issue, that cannot be easily corrected. If it can even be corrected at all, at his age. No way. |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
I will not be a saints fan til ALL that involve in him signing with the saints are gone! That means the owner, general manager and even possible the coaches. This will be the worst thing to ever happen to me, I don't even want to think of him signing with the saints. Do he deserve another chance to play with a nfl team? probally after some years pass and psych evaluation but not with the saints

I actually laughed out loud at the "locker room value" comment. |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
At least the O line we have now are humbley sucking if that's even a word. I actually feel sorry for our terrible offensive line. If we had him I would want bad things to happen to us.. No thanks.

Hell no.

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
All great points I can see the not parts. Thanks for the discussion on this. I do feel that our O-line needs someone nasty on it. Its like we have no "drive". We look pathetic. We need a K.Turley.

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
Why would you even joke about that?

Now I might would be interested in the Martin kid because I think his time will be done in Miami also.

Get him out of Miami into a better culture. There is no way someone else didn't know what was going on... |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
AND that Martin kid could probably be gotten for cheap, because he will no doubt get some kind of settlement to leave Miami and not sue or bring further revelations to light....settlement/guaranteed money from the Dolphins, plus league minimum from the Saints...he will be doing quite well.

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
I'll answer your question with another question. Any free agent centers on the market?

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
He's probably play better then Grubbs has been lately...and even Jahri hasn't looked good...but nah...I'd pass...unless we can get him for close to league minimum.

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
Like everyone else, I like what he brings to the field. It's just all the off-the-field stuff that comes with him that I would say no!

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
No way we need anything he has to offer. Anyone who contributes to a major division within a team, regardless of what kind of talent he may possess, should not be wanted. Our reputation took a bad enough hit last year with Bountygate, even though much of what we were accused of turned out to be untrue. The last thing we need is to be known as the team who picked up the guy who was let go by his former team for extorting, harassing, and bullying another team mate. Unequivocally, no!!!

Nope, I like having players on my teams that I can root for, not be embarrassed by.

It is not what he did, it is what he is. Here is the litmus test at BlackandGold.com. If rezburna doesn't want him... Its very bad. Incognito is suspended by the Dolphins, before that he was suspended by: Huskers coach Frank Solich for reasons never reported Bill Callahan for repeated violations of teams rules Benched by Steve Spagnuolo then released He is a disgrace to the Dolphins, the League. Dont be surprised when the League comes down hard on him for conduct detrimental. He is not going to play anywhere for a while. |
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
I think it's time for his medication. He obviously doesn't take it with his methamphetamine and espresso in the morning. Tisk tisk!... sounds like a piece of crap to me.
|
Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
Yes, I want him (...wait for it...) to spend the rest of his life running naked through a cornfield backwards. Piece of absolute garbage that does not deserve to be called human. Wonder why Junior didn't like Dick Incognito? He knows evil when he smells it.
Martin, on the other hand...why would anyone want a physically talented and intelligent OT from Stanford? |

I do not want him in New Orleans, but the sad part is some other team will pick him up. It doesn't matter how much of a dbag you are, if you fill a need, some team will take you.

Re: Incognito - Would you want him??
NO!!! He is a racist piece of shiit.
