Yeah, I think this is the case. Heck, there are probably fewer concussions these days - certainly fewer than the old days. The league simply identifies them now and doesn't threaten the players if they don't get back on the field.

They used to call it "getting your bell rung". Players would come out for a few plays, maybe a quarter if they were really foggy and go back in. They didn't call it a concussion unless the player lost consciousness.

Make no mistake-the NFL is making new rules primarily to cover their a**. They know they cant stop concussions. I agree though,it does seem like there is significantly more concussions this year. I know this is a long shot, but it makes me wonder if its staged in an attempt to revolt against the ridiculous rules that are being implemented. Hell, its already known that players fake injuries.

Crap on a cracker. Though Bush and IAQ have done well, they will get exposed down the stretch. They are role players, and very good ones. But, man, do we need Jenkins, Harper and KV playing together moving forward.

It's a bummer, but I would much rather have Vaccaro be out for this round versus the 49ers and Seahawks, than to have him be out when we play either of them the next time around, if you get my drift.
