this is a discussion within the Saints Community Forum; Jeniks. 95 yds and a TD. and that crucial 3rd down, deep in their own territory, back shoulder throw for a first down.... that was a killer...

Re: Saints vs Seattle Breakdown
the attack was simple use our over aggressive and poor discipline against the saints defense. they did what the Pats did but were better at it. expect the panthers to the same
the defense attack was simple phase 1 just beat up on the offense line and they will fold. phase 2 coverage was basic because they knew phase 1 was going to work |

Re: Saints vs Seattle Breakdown
i agree but that TD he gave up in end zone was and still is hard to take. Jenkins is taking the heat in the papers but he had his man covered and white his guy cross over away from the flow and turning him loose leaving Jenkins to cover two players going in opposite direction.
white screwed the poach on that play. turning his guy lose to dbl team another player or that was what he was suppose to and then i look to the play calling as piss poor. after the way the game went and the defense was totally out coached and left out to dry by our coaching staff i have to put the blame on the coaches. the odds say it so. |

Re: Saints vs Seattle Breakdown
He underthrew a couple deep balls (as he usually does) and overthrew several of those out patterns, and threw behind the receiver several times. They were mere inches from being completed, whereas Wilson threw several passes under pressure that were near perfect passes.
I doubt that happens again. |

Re: Saints vs Seattle Breakdown
The focus on D was Lynch... period. Almost like they ignored game planning against Wilson moving and creating plays. After getting burned EVERY time they touched the ball for a score in the first half, you would think that they would put someone on him as a spy, like they used to do with Vick. Keep him in the pocket and half of those throws downfield to wide open receivers never connect.

Re: Saints vs Seattle Breakdown
Games like this dont happen just by being good or bad.
It could be something like Seattle knowing what the Saints were calling every play. Remember that crap on Loomis for wire tapping? I say go investigate that stadium for it. |

Re: Saints vs Seattle Breakdown
Wilson and the Seahawks were bothered by Drew Brees and the visiting Saints in the same way lightning is bothered by an oak tree.
