if SEA beats the Giants, they are #1 if we win, we will win the south not mathematically clinched, but highly unlikely otherwise |

Um, NO. The Saints would have a two game lead, with 2 games to play, but Carolina could still tie record-wise. And if they do, the first tiebreaker would be head-to-head, which would still be tied. The second tiebreaker would be division record (not conference record, since the two teams are in the SAME division); Carolina would be 5-1, the Saints would be 4-2. Carolina would win the division.
