Re: 2014 The year of the make over?
Incoherent rambling from dentist chair, extraction.... Will smith, vilma, shouldn't have been brought back this year but its not our call, Jabari has never played a fully healthy season but this year was just real unfortunate he's gone with smith and vilma. Put Jenkins on that bus to there's no where to place him where he is not vunerale. Restructure Harper if he's staying, restructure on Brees, franchise jimmy and pray that Brees can talk him into signing. Again incoherent but those are my first thoughts on the subject

Re: 2014 The year of the make over?
We also have P.Rob who was looking pretty good this year b4 he went down. I would like to see us pick up a top corner in FA and move White to saftey. If we go that route,we can definitely let Greer and Harper walk. Not sure if that would work out,but on paper, that looks like a hell of a secondary matched up with a bad ass D line!

As the old saying goes, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. And White is far from broke playing CB. What I think would be a great idea is if we kept Lewis and White at boundry corners, and when Robinson comes back, we let Chris Carr walk in favor of making Robinson our slot corner. That'd work out well for everybody imo. |

Re: 2014 The year of the make over?
I like White at corner but with his tackling/hitting I do think he would make a pretty good safety who can cover man-on-man better than most safeties. Imagine White and Vacarro back there with Lewis/Greer/Robinson as the corners. That could be a really good group.

To be honest, I was too aggravated at how that game was turning out to make judgements on individual players. Against Carolina, he didn't allow a single reception all game according to profootballfocus. Depending on how he played vs Seattle, he could be considered lockdown since becoming a starter. If he didn't really play that well vs Seattle though, then he's just a young player with a bright future which is completely fine. Does anybody here have a profootballfocus subscription? If so, would you please tell me how Corey White performed that game? |
