Now we are in reality land all are solid reaches

Jordan Matthews, WR, Vanderbilt 6025 212 4.46
A big strong and fast WR that puts up numbers no matter who threw to him. whats not to like. route running a pro level tree does need a bit of work. But he has a great chance at becoming that #1 WR the saints have never had

Jerry Attaochu, OLB, Ga Tech 6032 252 4.57 (Pro day 3/28 )
Now here is upside drafting with low risk factored in. But still bigger reach. Trade back and land him i would be cool with it i guess. wish he would stayed in the same scheme he player in his Jr year. would have loved to see how he evolved.

First off i like My mighty mice in round 1. i usually do not

Brandin Cooks, WR/KR, Oregon State 5096 189 4.33
He would give the saints that instant home run threat SP loves and the a player that should have that Darren Sproils "Mess with the defenses" head game effect. The more i think about i swear this is the direction the Saints will go. Especially after giving the defense the #1 FS out there. This is the type of player that can electrify the Dome. Yep the "Bush Factor" Put him in the slot and watch him drive LB and safeties crazy as they try to help out the nickle back. Jimmy would love having him running up the seem with him. Safety standing there picking the poison in coverage help. Even Bryd would be having nightmares

Jason Verrett CB TCU 5095 176 4.38
He is one of the best Sneaky Fast CB to come down the pike in a while. IMO he would putting a finishing touch on for the secondary from game one. All that would be left is the fight for the second outside CB position. The saints now could go true man on man against those jitter bug WR. I see him shutting down the slot wr from day one. This is the only CB in this draft that could possible cover Cook and he showed what he could do against LSU. In the pass happy nfl today a nickle back is of more value than he use to be. You need 3 starting CB that can do different things.

Best players on the board to get the phones ringing from teams atop the second round and would not kill us to pass on or take.

Zack Martin OT/OG Notre Dame 6041 308

Ok he is good but day 1? i put him ahead of Moses but neither should be in round 1, they are solid day 2 picks so here is my reach. Should start right from day 1 at RT and is very Drew friendly at 6'4" Big plus is in 3 years he can slide inside to OG when the big 2 become FA. So he has a very cap friendly appeal down the road. So worth the reach in round 1 in my book.

My turn High rewards low risk.
Ryan Shazier, OLB/ILB Ohio St. 6011 237 4.36?
tremendous athlete hybrid defender. plus he can be moved all around in the defense. i was not sold on him at first but with his speed and coverage skills which i under valued i would start coaching him up at ILB from day 1. Another player a bit small for my liking at both ILB and OLB but solid flexibility is hard to find in an athletic freak like this. Third down LB from day 1 that will be lined up all over the place

scare me away players
Kyle Fuller CB, Virginia Tech - injuries
Bradley Roby, CB, Ohio State - not sold on him after his play last year
Kelvin Benjamin, WR, Florida State - big sure but he bumbles

"We may have lost the game, but you'll be hurting tomorrow." Doug Atkins
