\"There\'s some major memory loss on this board. Our defense ROCKED when Zook was running things. It has sucked since he left.
You KNOW Spurrier wants back in Florida...Zook has my vote for Venturi\'s job.\" K-Man: 2001 - Week 14 -- St. Louis 34 pts. week 15 -- Tampa Bay 48 pts. week 16 -- Washington 40 pts. week 17 -- San Francisco 38 pts. This was our effort on D during the stretch drive... One more win and we\'re in the playoffs 2000-2001 pts. given up 776 or (over 24 pts./g) My memory is fine [Edited on 26/10/2004 by frankeefrank] |

No new coordinators will come in during the season. If Has gets fired during the season the schemes will remain the same. You can\'t put in a new system on either side of the ball in the middle of the season. Schemes take all of camp and are refined in pre-season, so don\'t expect miracles. Although our team on both sides of the ball don\'t seem to be able to grasp schemes that have been in place for years.

If (and when) it comes, here are my nominations:
Head Coach: Romeo Crennel or Gary Kubiak Off. Coord.: rally monkey from ESPN commercials; with this talent even HE should be able to do right. Def. Coord.: Mike Singletary: He runs the LBs in BAL for Goodness Sakes!! (what was our weak spot again?) Special Teams should stay the same. P.S. -- Rally Monkey nominated only b/c that would rule!! |

The final month in 2001 blew chunks, no doubt, but it was because our offense couldn\'t make a 1st down, and our defense was on the field way too much. The last two games, our offense scored 10 points and 0 points, respectively. Tough for any defense to be effective spending that much time on the field. If your memory is THAT good, havbe a look at the whole year, not the december toilet flush.

Yes the final month of 2001 wasn\'t just the d\'s fault but over TWO years...
(776) pts. per game over 24... That\'s also part of the problem |
