Brees is 6th in the league in passer rating. LT is 10th in rushing yards. San Diego is 2nd in rush defense, pretty bad in pass defense.

Whether we win depends on how Brooks is.

Also if the defence can stop the run which they have only managed to keep 2 under 100 yards The Rams, and Raiders. Also depends on if the defence can keep the chargers to under 20 points.

The keys to winning this game
1 feild position don\'t give chargers short end of feild.
2. Turnovers who ever wins the turnover battle.
3. constant pressure on the qb
4. time of possesion
5. score first
6. keep chargers too under 20 points
7. good rushing performance to help with time of posseion and keep defense rested.
8. stop chargers from rushing for 100 yards.

That\'s alot of keys. Let\'s just hope the whole darn car decides to work. At least Haslett is calling the D now. That may help a bit. He believes in blitzing.

oh yeah, Venturi sucks

Excellent talking points.

Here\'s a good start. The Saints have been winning the turnover battles of late. Nobody\'s been putting it on the ground and Brooks has only 3 INTs on the season so far. Advantage: Saints.
3. constant pressure on the qb
4. time of possesion
5. score first
6. keep chargers too under 20 points
7. good rushing performance to help with time of posseion and keep defense rested.
8. stop chargers from rushing for 100 yards.
And then it goes south quick. The defense has been terrible against the run, against the pass, and giving up points by the boatload. The offense has been slow in getting going though doing very well once they do get going. Virtually zero chance of keeping the Chargers under 100 yards rushing, 20 points, or winning time of possession.

Our offense has to walk into the stadium knowing that they are going to have to deliver 25-30 points in order to win the game.

Personally if I were McCarthy I\'d be gameplanning pretty much a whole game of wide open shotgun, 4 wide (or 3 WR and 1 TE), 1 back sets. Then I\'d sling the ball all around the field, then going to Deuce once we get them on their heels. My whole offense would be predicated around scoring on every possession because I figure I won\'t get that many, and that virtually every opponent\'s possession would result in long drives ending in points.

But the chances of that? I\'ll probably win the lottery first.

Super Bowl Championships: New Orleans Saints:1, Carolina:0, Atlanta Chokers: STILL ZERO

Only Atlanta choked in an unchokable situation... Life is definitely good.
