Obviously, the coaches are not coaching stripping the ball hard enough. In 2009, they coached it so hard -- even the offense was getting into the act. Remember Meacham's strip - TD against the Chiefs? I still haven't seen anything like that before or since.
In 2009, you could see the D grabbing, scratching, pulling, punching for the ball on almost every play. I rarely see it now. That's the sense of urgency we need on this TEAM RIGHT NOW. We almost lost that game against the Cheifs. If it hadn't been for Meachams grit and playmaking -- we would have lost ( a road game ). |
