I disagree with the hindsight motion.

You make honest attempt at going for the 1st down and don't get it then it is the execution of the play that lost the game for us. They can't win if they don't have the ball period. I don't buy into trust you D either.

I rather go down TRYING then just LAYING down altogether.

The play that was the real backbreaker to me was not the touchdown, but the long pass to Ginn a couple plays before the touchdown. That was when I was like "uh-oh" and started flashing back to San Francisco.

That series doesn't matter in the overall scheme. Don't get so focused on 2 min of football and miss the other 58 mins. The play calling was awful for most of the game, but him putting the ball on the ground at the end isn't to big of a deal.

Morestead kicked a very short punt at the end. He should have gotten more into it. It gave the Panthers hope for OT.

Should of hit a play action pass on first down everone expects a run to kill the clock or not throw a pick in situations like this be aggressive and suprise them thats how you make plays

There is another solution from time to time also, Brees could scramle when no one downfield is open instead of staying in the pocket getting sacked or throwing into coverage when the recievers can't get open. He is in no way a running or option type of qb. but about every DC that game plans for us knows he is not going to run and will hold the ball way to long at times. A few scrambles each game would keep a D on their toes and we might have a few yds. out of it and less int.'s.

if we would have stayed with the same style of defense i would agree. once i saw an extra 3 yards added to the WR cushion i sank in my seat. i hate prevent of any style. if it working stick with it
